Astro Days The FAAWA generally presents two formal Astro Days each year offering a program of in-depth astrology presented by high quality local, national and international astrologers. This is to ensure that Western Australian astrologers are provided with opportunities to develop their skills and network with other qualified astrologers to maintain and raise the professional standards of astrology in WA. Note these two dates in your diary now and revisit our website often to keep

Del Meredith - Western -vs- Chinese
A comparison of Western Astrology versus Chinese Astrology utilising The Four
Pillars of Destiny as taught by Master Raymond Lo.
Brian Sture - Perth Astronomer - The Energies and Powers of the Universe
Brian is an astonomer with cutting edge information about how our solar system
originated in the Sagittarius Galaxy and was captured by the Milky Way, causing
it to resonate to two sets of energies. He will talk about parallel universes,
radiation zones and more.
Jeannette Lewis-Hill - Spiritual Profiling
The astrology of spirituality is a very deep field replete with ancient wisdom.
This talk will cover the sacred houses, the relevant Arabic parts, the 9th house
of belief and Jupiter, along with chart basics as they relate to our spirituality.

This proved to be an excellent foray into the Goddesses in our chart and how
they can bring depth and a new understanding of our motivations and deeds.

at the Old Mill Theatre, Cnr Mill Point Road and Mends Street, South Perth (opposite Post Office)
The venue had a wonderful ambience and all who took advantage of the astrology
mini readings, tarot, palm, chrystal and other healers were not dissappointed,
along with the wonderful food and hot tea/coffee on a less than warm spring day.
It was something a little different and was considered such a great success that
we will try to present another future event in this lovely old heritage building.

Clear, rigorous, simple - and a whole lot of fun. John Frawley, author of the
ASTROLOGERS APPRENTICE and more, lived up to his reputation as a top class international astrologer and drew a large number of attendees. John is a lecturer, teacher,
author and world traveller and we were very fortunate to convince him to include
Perth in his Australian tour to impart a wealth of knowledge in his inimitable
way. You can buy a CD of the full day of lectures for $20 - contact one of our
committee members or send and email to: ra.binks@telstra.com. The wonderful dinner on Thursday night was a fitting finale to a wonderful feast
of astrology over the previous day and evening.

What a great turnout, with a packed room for this full day event. Despite having to
climb three flights of stairs to reach our room, the heritage limestone building
was superb with beautiful artworks of brightly coloured birds festooning the walls
masking the gloomy history of this ex insane asylum. The leafy tranquil gardens
were a perfect space to enjoy our pre-arranged delicious gourmet lunch from the
on site cafe. Anne proved to be an engaging speaker with a vast knowledge of both topics of
palmistry and astrology, providng an illuminating day merging both disciplines.
In the morning we were treated to a very revealing look at our hands and their
ability to interpret life's story with such accuracy, and their relationship with
our astrology chart. There were many oooo's and aaaahh's as people learned the
art of understanding how to marry the two methods, which are so closely linked. Everyone
enjoyed comparing hands and chatting over lunch with a unique and extremely tasty menu.
In the afternoon we were treated to a session of excellent astrology and can
now understand the difference between murderers and serial killers. We studied
the predictable astrological signatures of serial killers as we examined in detail
the clues left behind by Jack the Ripper suspect James Maybrick. We then looked at the chart of the St
Valentines Day Massacre in Chicago in the days of prohibition, Elliott Ness and
the gangsters Bugsy Malone and Al Capone. Anne also went into great depth telling us about recently released details of
the background of Marilyn Monroe which led up to her untimely death, looking at her
chart to question the much publicised suicide theory.
Sunday May 29 2005 - 9:30am-4pm - 7th Avenue Bar and Restaurant, 74 Helena Street, Midland
The venue was superb and the weather was perfect with ample time allocated for
a lunch time stroll among the many giftware and fresh fruit and vege stalls that
were set up in the main street of Midland. All three speakers presented thought
provoking and exciting talks. FAAWA Committee Member, Donna Ward, in her first
talk for the FAAWA took us experientially through the astrological symbology within dreams. We
shared a very personal experience with participant Marie who volunteered to be
the dream subject and related her recent dream for all to understand. Our second
speaker, the very popular Del Meredith married Feng Shui with astrology and provided
a fascinating insight into the four pillars of destiny. Last but not least Jeanette
Lewis-Hill provided a comparison between the styles of three world renowned astrologers
Robert Hand, Howard Sasporas and Deb Houlding and their interpretations of the
water houses - 4th, 8th and 12th, and why the 12th house is the house of the rising
sun. Of course Jeanette inserted her own wisdom and easily kept the attention
of the audience with her insights. This was a wonderful day of variety all in
attendance agreed that it was a most enjoyable and enlightening experience.
