Alex Trenoweth

Alex Trenoweth is a traditionally published author, global speaker, and research-led educator whose work examines how planetary cycles intersect with education, child development, and lived experience. She is the author of multiple books, including “Growing Pains”, “Mirror Mirror”, and “Zeus on the Loose”, and is recognised for long-form, research-driven work grounded in real-world application rather than trend-led astrology.

Her work has received mainstream cultural recognition, including a featured author’s talk at Waterstones Trafalgar Square, where she was invited to speak in central London as part of the store’s curated author programme. Her writing and research have also been featured on major editorial platforms including Apple News.

Alex Trenoweth holds a BA, MA, and PGCE, and was professionally trained in education at University College London. Her work is shaped by decades of experience in educational settings, safeguarding practice, and sustained observational research, informing an evidence-aware and ethically grounded approach.

Alongside academic training for her MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at Bath Spa University (2007), Alex Trenoweth undertook rigorous astrological training, including the Diploma from the prestigious Faculty of Astrological Studies at Oxford University, with advanced work in traditional astrology. She is the founder and principal of the Rohini Academy of Astrology, an institution dedicated to serious, research-led practice, particularly in work involving children and families.

She was a co-organiser of the 2018 East Meets West Astrology Conference for the Institute of Vedic Culture, bringing together Western and Vedic astrologers in an international academic and cultural exchange.

Alex Trenoweth has spoken internationally across five continents and is the host of Astrology and Cinema in Reel Life, a video series exploring astrology through film and culture on YouTube and major podcast platforms.
